Today, we have made our problemstatement. Our topic is Irish national art.
When we get to Ireland we have planned to go to the "Irish Museum of Modern Art" - in Dublin and the "National Gallery of Ireland", where we would like to examine the differences between modern and older art. We have send a mail to the Museum of Modern Art, asking to get a guided tour. We have also planned to ask different people with different culture interests, which artist they think represents the Irish art best. At last we are going to examine if the Irish history has had any influence on the appearence of the pictures. We think this will give us a better picture of the history of the irish art and also to see if the culture differences gives them a different look on art.

SvarSletAn interesting topic. Who else could you cantact with an insight into art? Have you thought about journalists, painters or educational institutions?
SvarSletWe have thought about it, and we have written to the National Gallery of Ireland. But we cannot get an interview with any painter or something like that. We have not thought about educational institutions, we could maybe look at it, but we have actually no time left to an interview because we have planned an entire day researching it from another angle.
